On the 8th May 2022 I attended Canley Fire Station to photograph a ‘taster session’, which allowed members of the public to learn about the role of a firefighter, the application process and day-to-day activities.

Breathing Apparatus was covered with black tape to simulate complete darkness.
Candidates run out, under run and madeup lengths of 64mm hose.
The working at heights tower was used with harnesses to safely climb a 3-storey ladder.
